Beneath the Surface Original Painting

Beneath the Surface is an expressive, surreal portrait exploring the quiet and mysterious world that exists beneath our everyday thoughts.
A woman appears immersed in a dreamlike underwater landscape, her eyes closed as dark, flowing hair transforms into an underwater world of rocks, movement, and vibrant orange fish. The contrast between the muted blue-gray palette and the unexpected flashes of orange creates a sense of stillness and energy at the same time.
The piece is inspired by the idea that there is always more happening beneath the surface—our thoughts, dreams, emotions, memories, and imagination.
With its moody blue tones, expressive linework, and unexpected surreal elements, this artwork would make a beautiful statement piece for a bedroom, creative studio, office, reading space, or eclectic gallery wall.
