Amethyst Bloom

"Amethyst Bloom" — Original Mixed Media Portrait

A striking profile portrait rendered entirely in shades of violet and amethyst, capturing a woman in quiet, upward repose. Her curly hair is crowned with a lush arrangement of hand-painted daisies, orchids, and greenery, rendered in loose, expressive linework over soft watercolor washes.

This piece blends watercolor, gouache, and fine pencil/pastel detailing for a layered, textured finish — equal parts botanical illustration and figurative portraiture.
