Becoming Free

Becoming Free is an original mixed-media artwork about transformation, freedom, and the quiet moment when you realize you are becoming someone new.

A serene woman with flowing blue hair rests beneath a sky filled with warm monarch butterflies. The cool, textured blues create a dreamy atmosphere while the vibrant orange butterflies bring warmth, movement, and a sense of possibility.

The butterflies seem to represent the thoughts, dreams, and possibilities taking flight above her—a visual reminder that sometimes becoming free begins quietly within us.

With expressive linework, layered texture, soft washes of blue, and beautifully contrasting orange butterflies, this piece would bring an artistic, feminine, and slightly whimsical feeling to a bedroom, studio, creative space, living room, or gallery wall.

This is an original artwork created for someone who loves meaningful art with a story behind it.
