Veiled

"Veiled" — Original Mixed Media Portrait Painting

An atmospheric original mixed media painting featuring an abstracted female portrait with closed eyes, a single feathered wing, and delicate orchid branch detailing, set against a rich, textured ground of teal, gold, charcoal, and blush. Vintage ephemera — including a fragment of printed text and a classical figure engraving — is collaged into the composition, adding depth, history, and quiet narrative tension.

Loose, expressive brushwork combines with fine line-work and layered texture for a piece that feels both dreamlike and grounded — equally at home in a moody eclectic space or a contemporary gallery wall.
